What ever happened to the touchdown dances?

by Farrell on February 21, 2012

There used to be a time when folks would roll a Full 40, or a Combo, or a last ball hundo, and they’d celebrate with their own little touchdown dance.  But these days I’ll be hanging out at the lanes and folks will nail a Full 40 and they turn around and maybe barely high five a few folks, but that’s about it.

What’s the deal, people?  Where’s the excitement?  The creativity?

I’m on a mission to bring the touchdown celebrations back!  And if it takes me subbing in for a squad here and there and showing the rooks how to Find their 40 and then pulling out the Ickey Shuffle, then so be it.

Seriously, I wanna start seeing some celebrations.  Roll a solid score, do your dance (make sure someone is recording it), and then either email it to me at [email protected] or upload it to Facebook and tag me in it.   The best submissions will be rewarded with their own spotlight on SkeeNation, and will have a bunch of old school SkeeNation shirts and other swag sent to your abode!  Get on it!
