Vegas must have some crazy insider information, because if I were to poll 10 rollers right now and ask them who would win this year’s High Rollers Tourney, I guarantee not a single person would say Adam Thompson. You’d hear Duke, WonderBoy, Burgundy, CT, Ray, etc etc etc, but I guarantee you wouldn’t hear AT mentioned once. So I’m wondering what Vegas knows that no one else does.
Maybe they’ve seen him roll first hand — the guy is afraid of no one and can roll almost any number on command. He’s like the karate kid of skeeball, except instead of sweeping the leg and catching flies with chop sticks, he’s just nailing scores as you yell them out. “360″, boom. “290″, boom. “380″, boom. “A 450 but only one hundo allowed”, boom.
Maybe they were at the Maskeerade Ball when he and DK took down WB and O’Face in the Finals. He need a 380 to win the whole thing — and rolled it like he does that sh*t every day. It was unbelievable.
Maybe they’ve noticed his silent yet boisterous confidence (I know that sounds impossible, but I’ve seen it).
Maybe they’ve noticed his late night practicing….sometimes staying for hours perfecting his form.
Maybe they’ve realized he has ice in his veins.
I don’t know, but I like their pick. If I went to Vegas right now, I’d absolutely put $100 down that AT wins this skeeson’s HRT.
